About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2010 with my Ph.D. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings from inpatient hospital units, to residential programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  I served as a behavioral/evaluation consultant for several school districts, providing behavioral analysis and psychological testing.  I have worked in private practice since 2014 focusing on testing/assessment and therapy services.

The focus of my practice is to provide high-quality testing and evaluation services for individual from age 5 and up.  I specialize in testing for Autism, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, learning disorders, anxiety, and mood disorders.  In addition to testing, I also enjoy providing supportive therapy services, with an emphasis on teaching problem solving, coping mechanisms, and social skills.  While the focus of my practice is generally on children and adolescents, I also provide both testing and therapy services for adults.

As a therapist, I use a variety of different techniques and theories to work with my clients, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral theories such as Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), existential therapies, and biofeedback.  I feel that there is not a "one-size-fits-all" solution for challenges and I work to tailor therapy to what my clients need.
